Volunteer

We always need dedicated volunteers to help transport food from our distributors to event locations, assist with distributing meals and water, and provide support at our annual gala by greeting guests, managing auction items, and handing out goodie bags. Your involvement directly impacts our events and the community we serve, so join us in making a meaningful difference!

Food Distribution

Grocers and food distributors can make a powerful impact by partnering with Charity Road, redirecting surplus food that meets safety guidelines to families facing food insecurity. Instead of letting perfectly good food go to waste, these partnerships help provide essential nourishment to those in need, creating a community-wide difference with every donation. Together, we can turn excess into hope and sustenance for vulnerable households.

Our Original Donors; Patel Bros

Tesina; our founder "One day while driving my daughter to work, I saw Patel Brothers’ employees throw away food that looked edible. At that moment, an employee bit a cucumber from the bin.

I spoke to the manager; and then Darshan Patel. Darshan generously agreed to provide daily food from his stores. I started picking up food and delivering it, the next day."

Patel donated 880 pounds, day 1; over 271K pounds the first calendar year; over 3.8M pounds in 2020; and combined with our partners, we have provided millions of pounds in less than 5 years from numerous grocery and financial donors.

Thank you Patel Bros!
